Fort Zumwalt

A fifth-grader from Forest Park Elementary School was honored at the Fort Zumwalt Board of Education meeting on May 17 for outstanding citizenship.

The very first senior class at Fort Zumwalt East High School will graduate this spring. 

Students at FZE and in the Fort Zumwalt School District will start classes on Aug. 19.

Tim Woodworth would love for his daughter to attend Emge Elementary for kindergarten in 2010. But, even though his home is a short walking distance from the school, it falls just outside the attendance boundary for Emge.

Students in the Fort Zumwalt school district will have more rigorous math and communications arts courses in the fall.

For the third consecutive year, the Dardenne Elementary Healthy Kids Club won the award for having the most participants in the St. Charles Community College One Mile Fun Run.

An assistant principal in the Fort Zumwalt School District was honored on May 16 with the St. Charles Community College (SCC) Foundation’s 2009 Distinguished Alumni Award.

Students of the Fort Zumwalt West Chapter of Missouri DECA joined a record number 1,500 high school marketing students at the annual state career development conference held March 22-24 at The Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake Ozark.

O’Fallon resident William Nesham recently played in the Junior High Chess Championship, which is part of SuperNationals IV held in Nashville, Tenn.
