Local productivity advisor Mary Kutheis recently held a parent workshop and addressed parents to get them refocused on preparing for school-related priorities. Kutheis, who founded a workplace productivity company called Open Spaces, LLC, said that the key to beating back-to-school bedlam lies in five major areas: family communication; adults scheduling themselves and their children; managing paper mounds; creating customized study areas; and establishing reasonable consequences.
