Missing child found in Fenton

St. Louis County Police reported that at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Tues., July 6, a missing 4-year-old, Alisa Maier, from Louisiana, Mo., was found in the city of Fenton. St. Louis County Police officers responded to a call of a young child left unattended at a car wash on Old Gravois Road and discovered that the child was the missing child for whom an Amber Alert was issued on Mon., July 5.

Witnesses advised that a dark-colored (possibly black or brown), four-door, mid-size vehicle, possibly a Ford Escort, was seen leaving the area when the child first was spotted. The vehicle reportedly was making a loud noise, as if there was a hole in its muffler or the muffler was missing. The car was missing the hubcaps (wheel covers) on the driver side; witnesses were unsure if hubcaps on the passenger side of the vehicle also were missing.

The driver of the vehicle was described as a dark-skinned, white male in his early 30s with short, dark hair.

Anyone with information on the vehicle or suspect should contact the St. Louis County Police at (314) 889-2341.
