Suspects sought for Cave Springs Lanes' break-in

The St. Peters Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred at approximately 4:50 a.m., July 5,  at Cave Springs Lanes in the 4000 block of Mexico Road.

The morning of July 5,  St. Peters police received a call for an alarm sounding at the bowling alley. After a thorough building search, officers found no one inside of the building and nothing appeared disturbed. The business owner responded to the scene and reviewed the video surveillance which clearly showed two subjects inside of the business after hours. On the surveillance video, the subjects were seen in the business and a short time later, running from the business after the alarm sounded.

The first subject was described as a white male, in his late teens to early 20s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches, weight proportioned with his height. Police said he has light-brown hair and was wearing a black shirt, black pants, and a black fedora hat.

The second subject was described as a white male, in his late teens to early 20s, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall with an athletic build. Police said he has dark-brown hair, thick eyebrows and was wearing red shorts and a blue T-shirt with a decal that read "Post 312," which is an American Legion Post in the St. Charles area for baseball.

Anyone with information on the identity of these subjects are asked to call St. Peters Police Department at 278-2222, or contact the police anonymously at Crime Stoppers , 278-1000.
